EU Shipping is Paused
Due to new PPWR regulations shipping to all EU countries except for The Netherlands is paused.
I already done my best before it was a law to minimize my environmental waste, etc. so I am not really worry about that part. But where it is getting interesting (the below is my understanding as not trained in this matter person):
- You need to register (buy a license) in EVERY EU country. EVERY EU country has its own way/system and approach how to do it.
- Collect data on each package you send: weight of envelope, category of everything, etc. and report it per country.
- Get a representative in country you are not registered (have no physical office).
So part 1 and 2 is doable in some countries, I just need to work on weekends 😈 Also because I have small volume of sales in some countries big chunk of my income will go to cover "waste fee" because there is minimum 1 kg of waste you can report. For example in Germany my waste fee would costs 16 - 20 EUR which one of the lowest. But in France the minimum €80 per year flat fee applies.
And now is a nuclear news hiring representative ranges between €300 and €1,500+ per year per country.
I just can't afford any of it.
The punishment fine is up to 100 000 EUR. The checks are told to be automated at least in some countries.
I hope micro businesses will be excluded from obligation to have representative during October voting on law changes.

So much detail! From the beautiful painting, to the wrappings that it came in and the customer service is amazing!! Sandra has went above and beyond. I had messaged her asking questions about signing the painting and what would be best to use. She sent me a sample along with the painting so I could test things out. I am two weeks away from meeting Dave Jones and having him sign this masterpiece. I am also waiting for the Solas restock cause I know it will be well worth the wait!!!

I ordered this print as an early birthday gift for myself and I was absolutely blown away! It is gorgeously painted and was packaged with a lot of personal touches. It arrived not only safely but wrapped in beautiful paper, a wax seal, and an envelope with a handful of goodies and a certificate of authenticity. Everything about it was wonderful and I cannot express how happy I am with it!
