Handling: When handling the
painting, make sure your hands are
clean and dry. Touch the artwork
as little as possible to prevent
smudging or transferring oils from
your skin.
Placement: Find a suitable
location away from direct sunlight
and extreme temperature changes.
Avoid areas with high humidity,
such as bathrooms or kitchens.
Framing: Consider framing the
artwork to provide extra
protection. Your painting is
varnished so having a glass is
optional. A frame with UV-protective glass or acrylic can add additional shield from dust and harmful UV
rays.
Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth or a
soft brush to gently remove any dust
from the painting's surface. Avoid using
water or any cleaning solutions. You
can use special Picture CleanGel by
Rublev Colours to remove dirt and
grime.
